I used Telegram Desktop before und updated to V 0.8.57. But version 0.8.57 crashes on OS X 10.7.5 at startup. Update to actual version is not possible because it requires OS X 10.8

aha Here’s 2 apps on Mac….. What’s the difference between them….

Few options are confusing. for example: 1. I don’t know when my chats are secure encrypted and when they aren’t. in IOS that feature has UI, here its unclear. 2. Nobody seems to had realized that putting two Telegram apps in the App Store would raise the questions and failed to explain what are the differences besides UI 3. Telegram gives username but no way evident to actually invite people with that username; or even to add contact with that username. You get the username link but clicking the send message does nothing. Safari completely fails to even load that telegram.me/username page

For example. Imgs and docs saving: app creating a folder in “Downloads” and saving files inside this folder. This is not a logic of Mac users.

It is impossible to write symbols like «š» and «ž» in this application.

Questa app potrebbe avere 5 stelle se solo fosse possibile cambiare la dimensione dei caratteri. Sto diventando cieco a scrivere dal mio Macbook! This app could earn 5 stars if only it were possible to change the fonts dimension. I’m losing my sight writing on Telegram from my Macbook!

The app crashes as soon as it is opened. This is happening after the latest update. Please add encrypted session support.

I hope it gets better and faster.

this is a great app . almost no bugs . its nice to have something like this in my mac . but the olu thing i cant understand is the other one . whats the porpuse ? the other telegram app is also signed to this company but the app is a lame . designation is weak and i dont se the point . i ll stick to this one cuz its great thank you telegram <3

Very nice looking app but the OS X version Does not support secret chat. Why would the developers choose not to support secret chat on the desktop version??

For those of you who are confused: there are two Telegram offerings in the Mac App Store; this one, Telegram Desktop, is the cross-platform app that also runds on Windows and Linux; it is a fully featured app and a nice alternative client to the Telegram for Mac (listed in the store as “Telegram”) client. The differences between the two are entirely visual, as both offer a very similar set of features. This version features chat backgrounds and a visual style similar to WhatsApp.

Won’t start in snow leopard 1.6.8

But maybe a voice memo feature will be good, and compatibility with handoff wil be better. Thanks

I love Telegram. I am a total fan of the app. I like my data to be kept secret, thank you. Also, I love the fact that there is a desktop app!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!

There is a bug in latest update. When I click Send Photo icon in conversation, telegram crash and quit. Please fix.

I’m really impressed. Telegram Desktop keeps improving. It’s by far my favorite messaging app ( even better than whatsapp ! ) Keep app the good work & I wish you guys all the best :-)

One of the few applications thats actually as well-featured as the mobile version.
